ABOUT THE ROLE Mounties Care is seeking a vibrant and experienced Practice Manager to join our close-knit team at Freshwater Health Clinic on a permanent part-time position, approximately 24 hours per week. The Practice Manager will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the practice, optimising resources, improving staff performance, and enhancing patient care through effective management and strategic planning More specifically, your duties will include but are not limited to: - Maintain accurate financial records and provide regular reports
- Expand the practice to make it more profitable and meet the needs of the community.
- Ensure consumables and equipment are kept stocked and maintained to the manufacturer’s standards and conditions.
- Lead accreditation compliance and implementation including preparation.
- Develop relationships with GP’s, allied health professionals and other practitioners.
- Manage patient feedback and complaints resolution.
- Supervision of employees including training and development as well as oversee and manage employee performance
- Conduct regular staff training, meetings, and appraisals.
- Leading risk management and quality improvement processes.
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate, would have: - Previous experience in a practice management position
- Demonstrated patient-focused approach in service provision with genuine empathy and interest in their needs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Always be well-presented, friendly, courteous and obliging National police Check obtained within the last three months
- Represent the practice in a confident and positive manner at all times
- Undertake all duties in a diligent manner, with honesty and integrity
- Have a vigilant attitude to accuracy, being prepared to double check as necessary
- Work cooperatively and independently
- Demonstrate ability to prioritise and organise
- Demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development
