What are we looking for? 

 

We currently have new and exciting opportunities for energetic and dedicated Responsible Gambling Officers with exceptional customer service skills to join our fun and dynamic team on a Full-time basis at our Mount Pritchard venue.  

 

As a Responsible Gambling Officer, you will champion the Mounties Values and Service Standards whilst being the first point of contact for all gambling related queries.  

 

More specifically, some of your key duties will include: 

  • Effectively monitor and identify patrons displaying potential signs of problem gambling 
  • Proactively supporting and facilitating customer service with patrons who exhibit signs of problem gambling 
  • Providing support to team members and conducting relevant gambling assistance conversations with patrons where necessary  
  • Provide and facilitate information to patrons about gambling counselling and self-exclusion  
  • Record and report instances of potential gambling harm  
  • Lead a culture of proactive gambling harm minimisation  
     

About You 

  • Previous experience within the hospitality industry or within customer service environment 
  • Qualifications in customer service and managing difficult conversations (desirable) 
  • Strong customer service acumen in all facets of customer service  
  • Impeccable grooming, presentation, and communication skills 
  • A willingness to build long-term relationships with customers 
  • Ability to work a flexible roster, including days, nights and weekends.  
  • Willingness to work public holidays.  
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol  
  • Responsible Conduct of Gambling  
  • Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling (ARCG)
