ABOUT THE ROLE We are currently searching for an experienced and dedicated IT Support Technician to support our team at Mounties, located in Mount Pritchard, NSW, on a full-time basis! As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for being the first line of support for hardware and software issues across the group. More specifically, some duties will include but are not limited to; - Manage and resolve helpdesk requests in a timely manner and record outcomes in ticketing system.
- Assist in day-to-day system troubleshooting of user hardware and software problems.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Perform installations and software upgrades.
- Provide printer, laptop & mobile device support.
- Assist in coordination and implementation of system updates.
- Troubleshoot, administer and upgrade LAN/WAN infrastructure to maintain speed, security and integrity.
- Create and manage user accounts and permissions.
- Manage Virtual Machine infrastructure.
ABOUT YOU To be successful for this role, you should have the following: - A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an IT Help desk support and network management role
- Knowledge and experience in Active Directory, Azure, Office 365
- Virtual infrastructure experience
- Relevant qualification in Information Technology is highly regarded
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced network diagnosis and troubleshooting
- Excellent ability to multi-task and work against multiple priorities
- High level of professionalism with sensitivity to confidential information
