We are currently seeking experienced and passionate qualified Chefs at all levels, including Demi, Chef De Partie & Cooks, to come and join our amazing team at Harbord Diggers.
As our next Chef or Cook, you will be joining a team who create memorable guest experience through the delivery of high-quality food whilst ensuring compliance to safe food handling practices.
We have available immediately Full time and Casuals required for shifts across all meal periods 7 days per week.
To be considered, you must have the following:
Full availability and the ability to work a flexible roster to cover shifts across all meal periods (breakfast, lunch and dinner), including days, nights and weekends & public holidays
Experience working in a high volume kitchen
Self-discipline, team player with initiative
Outstanding communication skills
Organised and customer focused
Motivation, urgency and consistency
Experience in making cold larger dishes
Must be able to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities and appropriately manage solutions with Sous chef and Kitchen Manager
Must be able to take ownership and responsibility of a preparation section and service station
