THE ROLES

Various positions for casual or full time Chefs, breakfast chefs and cooks to join our busy kitchens at Harbord Diggers and Manly Bowling Club. 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure compliance to food handling practices and general cleaning duties
  • Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of food quality
  • Work as part of a team

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working in a high volume kitchen
  • Self-discipline, team player with initiative
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Organised and customer focused
  • Motivation, urgency and consistency
  • Experience in making cold larder dishes
  • Must be able to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities and appropriately manage solutions with Sous chef and Kitchen Manager
  • Must be able to take ownership and responsibility of a preparation section and service station
  • Full availability and the ability to work a flexible roster, which includes days, nights and weekends (including public holidays)
