Fitness Centre Manager - Mounties Health & Fitness

What is Mounties Health and Fitness?

Located in Mount Pritchard, our large facility consisting of 1000m2 training floor, including a huge weight section, cardio equipment selection and 4 group fitness studios.  The centre also has a dedicated aquatic department including a 25m recreational pool and dedicated learn to swim pool.


The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fitness Centre Manager to join our fun and dedicated fitness team on a full-time basis.  As the Centre Manager, you will oversee all day to day operations and engage with staff to deliver service excellence within the fitness arena.


We are looking for someone who is a natural leader and can mentor our staff to perform in a competitive sales environment. In addition, you will be responsible for the implementation of new innovative ideas including the coordination of a sales system that will assist in lead generation, sales conversion and track our success.


Skills & Experience:

  • Proven ability to achieve KPI’s, sales targets and implement effective marketing campaigns
  • Excellent budgeting and financial forecasting
  • Coordinate multiple departments within the centre providing strategy and support
  • Recruit and manage personal trainers, contractors, and group fitness instructors
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Build a fun, safe and engaging environment/culture for our members and staff
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to work a flexible roster, which may include day, nights & weekends, public holidays


Fitness Manager Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ working in the health and fitness industry with management experience
  • Certificate 3 & 4 in fitness
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Insurance
  • Working with children check
