About the Role

We are currently searching for an experienced and motivated Senior Cellar Attendant to join our team on a full-time basis at Harbord Diggers Club, located in Freshwater, NSW!

 

As a Senior Cellarman, you will be responsible of ensuring that our Cellar operates at an optimum level of efficiency whilst providing quality standards of customer service.


More specifically, your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee and assist with the efficient day-to-day operation of the Cellar department
  • Ensuring accurate records are maintained including wastage recording, stock movements, stock on hand, transfers, par levels, WH&S issues and system failures
  • Complete monthly and ad hoc stocktakes
  • Proactively monitor and ensure safe working conditions
  • Assist management with the creation and execution of venue beverage menus, including cocktail, speciality drinks and contract compliance
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders as necessary to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Maintaining the beer reticulation system

 

About You

To be successful for this role, you should have the following:

  • Prior experience in a similar Cellar role and/or within the hospitality industry
  • Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) – or willing to obtain
  • Hold a current Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG) – or willing to obtain
  • Hold a current Forklift licence – or willing to obtain
  • Have a passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Availability to work a flexible roster, including days and weekends
