What we are looking for?

At Mounties, we are relentless in our pursuit of excellence, and we are looking for an exceptional strategic and analytical thinker who takes pride in facilitating strong data driven insights into opportunities for the business. This individual will be our next Gaming Product and Systems Manager and will have a continuous focus on strategic and improvement initiatives.  

 

Some of your key duties will include:

 

  • Managing the Group Gaming Compliance
    • Manage and develop systematic procedures to ensure daily compliance requirements are met. These include developing policies and procedures that enhances process efficiencies, provide accurate and valid reporting, and business compliance with regulatory bodies.
    • Participating in regular, accurate and valid reporting with all Internal and External stakeholders relating to:
      • AUSTRAC, RG, Club Board Reports, Self-Exclusions, in Investigations into Gaming related disputes, complaints, incidents, legal matters relating to RFI and Inspections to mitigate risks to breaching regulatory requirements and that Club policies and procedures are always maintained.
    • Make recommendations that mitigates business risks and increase business efficiencies.
    • Maintaining inventory of mandatory regulatory compliance materials.
    • Reviewing and implementing systems or reporting methods and identifying if additional reporting or training is required.
  • Financial and Budget Management
    • Management of ROI of all expenditure.
    • Assist in developing strategies to enhance CAPEX & OPEX expenditure.
    • Assist in developing and reviewing business cases for all expenditure ensuring accurate and valid information.
  • People Management
    • Lead and manage your team, ensuring each team member’s accountability is aligned with agreed KPI’s and responsibilities.
    • Enhance department efficiencies and identify areas of learning and development that may be required.
    • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver and/or implement agreed goals and strategies where required.
  • Product and System Management
    • Manage gaming system components, ensure operations of the system are performing as per expected, assist developing business cases for enhancements of the system.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Advanced knowledge and experience using Aristocrat System 7000 is strongly desirable.
  • Effective problem solving, process improvement and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NSW Liquor and Gaming & Club industry related legislation.
  • Advanced knowledge & experience in club operation systems, e.g., Maxgaming system, POS system, Gaming paging system – BTG, Club sign in system and Finance system.
  • Advanced knowledge & experience in gaming products including all manufacturers of EGMs, MTGMs, link jackpots.
  • Advanced Microsoft application skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Excellent project and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong business negotiation skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Must have a current NSW Liquor and Gaming RSA and RCG competency card.
  • Must have a current RG certificate.
