The role

 

We are currently seeking a dynamic & experienced, customer focussed professional to join our Functions & Events team on a 12-month maximum term contract.

 

Based at our Mounties site, a short 10-minute drive from Liverpool, you will manage the day-to-day events & functions for our 5 lovely Western Site Venues ensuring our service delivery exceeds our customers expectation.

 

More specifically, you will: -

  • Oversee the end-to-end operation of each event, including the setup, running and pack down     
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the room before, during and after each function                          
  • Roster and oversee staff working on events                                                                        
  • Ensuring department standards are met and procedures are followed at all times              
  • Ensure payments are processed in a timely & accurate manner
  • Attend to and assist with all enquiries in relation to functions
  • Take and manage bookings for all function areas throughout all  Western site venues
  • Report writing as required
  • Maintain customer database and integrity
  • Handle all customer complaints in a timely manner         

Skills and experience

  • Prior experience in the function and event management industry
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft applications
  • Event-Pro & Visio proficiency would be advantageous
  • An ability to lead and supervise daily function operations
  • Roster experience
  • Full availability (days, nights, weekends & public holidays)
