ABOUT THE ROLE

Invitation to Health, part of Mounties Care, has a collaborative team approach that is a core part of our model, with a team of passionate and highly trained doctors and complementary practitioners working closely together. As health care evolves, so do we. This means growing our team of passionate health professionals as we stay focused on our mission.

 

We are currently searching for a qualified and passionate Practice Nurse to join our close-knit team on a part-time basis at our GP clinic located in Wyoming, NSW!

 

Reporting to the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and be the first point of contact for patient support and enquiry.

 

More specifically, some of your key duties will include:

  • Initiate and conduct health maintenance in partnership with individuals and families
  • Health assessments and care planning for patients attending the clinic
  • Conduct diagnostic and health screening activities in consultation with the GP
  • Clinical nursing; triage, emergency, wound care
  • Immunisations for children and adults
  • Diagnostic services; e.g. clinical obs, ECG, spirometry
  • Surgical assistance with procedures; e.g. cryotherapy, minor skin procedures
  • Stock control and management
  • Hazardous waste management / infection control / cold chain management
  • Responding to clinical enquiries

  

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate must hold the following as a minimum:

  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum two years post graduate experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively – both verbally and written
  • Availability to work 2-days per week (Wednesdays & Thursdays)
