About the business Active Networks is the publisher of Peninsula Living, Peninsula Living Pittwater and North Shore Living print magazines and the North Side Living News website. About the role We are seeking an enthusiastic writer to support our small and hardworking editorial team with a range of editorial tasks across print and online platforms. This is a part-time role (three days a week) based in our Brookvale office. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: Sourcing and writing articles on a broad range of topics, including local community and council news, schools, and local personalities. Uploading, managing, and scheduling content for our digital news website, Instagram and Facebook groups. Meeting community members and maintaining local contacts
The ideal candidate will have: A degree in journalism and at least three years' experience in a similar position A sound knowledge of the Northern Beaches and North Shore areas A proven ability to present and package content in fun, informative and unique ways A keen eye for detail and experience in writing profiles and news Experience in web and social media content production
