ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Greenkeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the overall presentation, condition, and playability of the golf course. Your daily work will directly contribute to the member and guest experience at our venue.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns using hand, power, and ride‑on mowers
• Trim and edge around walkways, garden beds, tees, greens, and pathways
• Assist with planting flowers, grass, shrubs, bushes, and general landscaping
• Rake, mulch, prune, and maintain garden areas as required
• Water turf and plants, including the application of fertilisers
• Support general golf course maintenance duties as directed
• Operate equipment safely and maintain a clean and safe work environment

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in securing this role, you will ideally possess the following skills and experiences:

• Previous experience as a Greenkeeper or Groundskeeper
• Currently undertaking or willing to commence an apprenticeship in Greenkeeping
• Qualifications in Horticulture, Sports Turf Management, or related fields (highly regarded)
• A valid Driver’s Licence
• Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays
• Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
• Ability to perform high volumes of manual handling
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to be part of a team
• A passion for golf is viewed favourably
