ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a capable and driven Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis at Mounties, in Mount Pritchard.

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the successful candidate will play a critical role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that enhance product performance and support strategic decision making.

More specifically, your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Analyse gaming product performance, player behaviour, and key metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
• Partner with stakeholders to gather and turn business and data requirements into meaningful analytical outputs
• Develop and maintain robust dashboards and automated reporting using Power BI
• Perform complex data extraction, validation, and querying using MySQL
• Apply advanced analytics and AI techniques for forecasting, segmentation, and trend analysis
• Translate data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Continuously improve data processes, reporting frameworks, and analytical methodologies
   

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in securing this role, you will ideally possess the following skills and experiences:

• Extensive understanding of gaming products, performance metrics, player behaviour, and regulatory considerations
• Strong analytical capability with experience working on large, complex datasets
• Proven ability to gather, analyse, and translate business and data requirements into actionable insights
• Proficiency in MySQL for data extraction, validation, and complex querying
• Advanced Power BI skills, including data modelling, DAX measures, dashboard design, and automated reporting
• Experience applying AI or advanced analytics for forecasting, segmentation, trend analysis, or process optimisation
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a continuous improvement mindset
